Question -

Did you end up doing the single spring conversion on your Greddy BOV? Is there a chance that your BOV is opening early from a weak spring pressure and releasing some of the pressure? Just thinking out loud. Any updates?

yeah i did it. and i was thinking about that too. but last night i turned my wast gate down a little to were my peak boost is more like 8-9 vs 10-11 and that seemed to help for some reason..

but its still doin the same thing a little bit, so i will deff try that today.

oh and as far as the fans go.... im just an idiot... they run, but just dont turn onto high until i turn on the ac..... i feel smart

The issue then is either your wastegate or your BOV. One of them is not staying closed to allow your boost to build properly. You're running a Forge wastegate, right? With the 5-7psi spring installed? Or are you running a higher PSI spring? Do you have a boost controller installed?

With the fans, I think everyone was just confused on how you were describing the issue. Yea, the second fan only kicks on when the A/C is turned on.

im pretty positive its got the 10psi spring in it. the guy i got it off of on here was running that much, and if i remember correctly thats the spring he told me was in it. but yeah im goin to go put the spring back in the bov and see how that goes.

and actually both my fans run all the time, but just really low you can feel them spinning but dont hear them, and then as soon as you switch the ac on they both kick on to high and sound like a damn jet.

put the spring back in and turned the wastegate back up and im boosting at 11psi with no leaks! so i really wish i didnt take that spring out before i got my tune... :/ but w/e he wont charge me but like half an hour on the dyno since its pretty much tuned for the turbo already.

well first off was a typo. its a 4g93 mani. and ive been told that ports are much bigger then rrms and it has shorter runners than the 94 so it increase power at a different range then a 94 manifold and people have gained more hp threw the whole band

yeh i know the reasons why people say the 93 is better, and it makes sense.

I was just wondering about the "stage 3" thing. Because the only "stage 3" intake manifold I've ever seen was the ported/twin TB setup from A2, so i was just wondering how extensive the work was on it compared to that setup

ok, well i was just readin up on one of blacksheeps modding info threads and he said on a turboed set up a ported throttle body can do more harm than good? because it makes it a pain to tune or something??
