hey guys, its been awhile. been on training for a job in texas for the last few months.
anyway, started working on the car again today.
i duno if i mentioned before, but the new radiator i got was actually from an evo 7 i think..
it over all fits fine, but im having to fab up some top mounts for it, because the tips that come off the top of the radiator and into the stock mounts are about an inch farther up (cuz the thing is 3 inches think ). so i mocked them up today and should be finished tomorrow.
also the radiator cap and the top hose are in opposite sides, so im goin to have to get a different top hose made to fit right.
as far as everything else, i now have a small leak in my dads "full proof" tap on the oil pan. so im taking it off tomorrow, and replacing the oil gasket with a thick piece of teflon.
im getting new ic pipes bent up at an exhaust shop, and ording my new clutch this week as well. was goin to try and tackle the install on it myself, but i have no clue what id be gettin into and when it comes to clutches, my dads only really worked on older rear wheel drive stuff. so we have a family friend who owns a shop and is goin to install it for me for 400bux.
