put my 440cc injectors in this afternoon. took me awhile to figure out how to get the fuel rail off but once i figured it out it was really easy. but... when i bolting the hose back up to the fuel rail it didnt feel like it was gettin any tighter, so i screwed it in a little more and... snap.. broke the head off one of the bolts.. it seems to be in there really good still so im not to worried unless i have to take the fuel rail back off for some reason..

oops...

Isn't the head of the bolt what helps keep the line bolted to the rail?

Dad went to home depot for me and rigged this up for my oil pan. He works with waste water with big plants n stuff, so he knows his stuff about sealing stuff up. worked out great! and in my opinion easier than tapping it.

Very clever. So you just drilled a hole in and the thing, not sure what to call it, your dad made just fits in the hole and is sealed? Pretty good idea. Cheaper than getting it welded too.

yeah, the hole is still pretty close to the size of it. you pretty much have to thread it to get it in. its kind of like a pvc bulk head fitting

That's very cool. It's nice to see someone be inovative and think outside the box.
