I also bought Auto Meter's Cobalt Boost gauge, A/F Wideband and the steering wheel dual gauge mount.

if it is a gt2554r chra, its not rebuildable and has to be replaced. Little harder if its been modified.

yeah, i was implying just the chra to be replaced, but the wheels are transferable if they're not damaged, no? or the opposite, keep the cartridge and replace the wheels?

when you replace the chra, you replace everything but the housings. If they modify it, you cant just go by another one which sucks.

The steering wheel mount is for the evolution and is actually from autometer.

I didn't have to replace the housing on the turbo since I actually just damaged the cartridge itself, so I just replaced it.

So I was sitting here looking at turbos and was wondering about going bigger, would a GT3071R be too big, or how about the GT2871R ?

They wont bolt on since the tubine housings are completely different. A 2871r will make 320-350whp on pump depending on other mods and a 3071r will make 350-380whp on pump depending on other mods.

Were you talking about the cartridge or the whole turbo itself? I was talking about the whole turbo.

I was talking about the turbo also. The t-28 uses a mitsu flange, not a normal garrett flange. you would have to modify the up and downpipe to fit those turbos if you want to use either.
