RRM t-28 intercooled turbo

Is there anyone on here that knows the exact model number of the turbo that comes with the kit? I had a mishap with the turbo and I need to get another one. Thanks in advance.

I did and they said they didn't know. But told me they had a price for it. I can't exactly go and look at the one that I have right now because I'm thousands of miles away lol, but it does need to be replaced.

I'm not even sure how to tell what type of t28 I have. From what I understand there are different ones. I wasn't aware that RRM was using different ones though... that strikes me as odd that they wouldn't know which t28 they were using. I will go home today and see if I can find some kind of identifing mark or something to help you out man. Hopefully someone else can step up and give you an answer.

If you are just looking to swap your turbo you might want to look into rebuilding it through a shop. Kunfugirl went through http://www.gpopshop.com I think. His turbo was rebuilt and looked amazing when done. I'm not sure but you might also want to check with speedcorps.com.

I would have it rebuilt also. Much cheaper than having it replaced http://store.forcedperformance.net/m...Code=DSM-Turbo

I really like the T28, but it's not worth the price. Unless you can find it used at a lowered price, it's not really worth it IMHO.

For the price, a gt28r or t3s60 is a better choice.

i was always under the assumption that RRM used the Big T-28 from Forced Performance as that was the turbo their sister company, Road Race Engineering, used (they're next door to each other). On Forced Performance's site, they stick a gt25r CHRA with the biggest wheels that fit in a MHI T-25 housing. if you can confirm you have a stock MHI T-25 housing, call Forced Performance and tell them you need whatever you need changed instead of buying a whole new unit.
