RRM T28 non i/c kit

Just wanted to give a little review about the kit..

Its so much fun driving it even without tuning or an intercooler.. the turbo spools around 3100rpm and just pushes me to my seat!! definitely a big difference from my n/a set up that had an intake, exhaust, header, piggyback, intake manifold and crank pulley!! im talking about 2 full seconds off of my quarter mile time...

i ran a 15.5 the first time i ran the setup at the track with a 2.580 0-60ft time.. my tires were stock and my stock clutch was slipping.. the time might be a little high compared to the other ones here but keep in mind that the track here in vegas is not sea level, the elevation is pretty high..

im really happy with the kit and im hoping to break 14's with a non i/c setup after i get some nice grippy tires, clutch and a flywheel..

If you took 2 full seconds off your time, you cant drive. With stock wheels/tires i ran 16.4 with full weight and my mods were: injen cai, greddy catback, and a eibach prokit. Never did get to run my GT28R (not T28) on the track, but that thing hit 7psi well before 3k (maybe 2600rpms).

My TT now with stock turbo hits 20psi just past 2k with a stock block, its now stroked from 1781cc to 2008cc and will spool just walking to the car LOL

well thats pretty harsh saying that i cant drive! you also would have to consider the elevation here in vegas! and that im running with stock tires and stock suspension!! no lancer here in vegas ever broke 16's, atleast not that i know off!! you ran a 16.4, good for you! i guess you're a great driver!!

I didnt mean to offend you but here in OH we are still at a decent elevation. Also i only been to the track 3 times and all of those were with my lancer. I ran 16.4-.6 with mods above and i believe one was with stock suspension, but im sure that changed little to nothing. My runs were on stock oz wheels and stock yokahama tires.

I would put money you just need to practice launching. Leaving at ~3k and slowly letting go of the cutch worked best for me.

its all good, i wasn't really that butt hurt about it.. my stock tires weren't yokohama's.. its called wynstar!! lol
i just saw another lancer at the track that had an exhaust only i think.. he ran a 18.8 and got beaten by a civic that ran a 17.7!

i was at the track and beat a cobaltSS and 07 civic SI.. both of them ran mid to high 15's with intakes and exhausts on their cars!! its getting warmer here in vegas too now, my non ic setup is not liking it.. my times are slightly higher now!! lol
vegas weather and elevation sucks!!
