As far as I know the newer 2.0 cables can read our ECUs just like the 1.3 cables. Someone please correct me if I'm mistaken.

Bottom line, you'll be fine to make the hour trip. Just go easy on the peddle and don't give the turbo a chance to spool up.

good news is that im tunned at 180 hp with 192 torque
but the bad news is that i need a standalone to go any higher bc our ecu's dont read into boost so he couldnt tune it for when it goes into boost.
im happy right now but i gotta try and find a computer and go back as soon as possible!
fun as hell to ride and goes up to 80 pretty quick, grips in 2nd and goes. had an awesome day at iveytune!! someone if they can please find me a standalone...he reckons 250 easy with it. im only boosting 5 pounds and its steady up to whereever i rev. do have a check engine light but there are no codes???? and for ecu flash we used the 03 oz, i dont rele no much about that stuff but there wasnt rele a def file for m car.
im happy though, BOV is sickkk lol, will get vids soon, i got home late today and am sooo tired.

Our ECUs do see into boost and it is able to be tuned using EcuFlash. Lots of turbo'd Lancer owners will tell you. The ECU has no problems seeing load values higher than 100. You simply need to re-scale the load values in the fuel and ignition tables.
So spending almost $2000 on an AEM EMS and the tuning time for it for 250hp... yikes. You can get to 250hp using EcuFlash, but your pistons/rods may not agree with the number...
