I feel like (sometimes...not all the time) it would be worth my time just to let a pro tune it. GOOD LUCK, and I can't wait to see that bugger on the dyno. What do you say to someone before they get tuned, "Break a rod!" akin to "Break a leg!"?

Bad news is I didn't get tuned bc I have the wrong version tephra mod, my version will not get the throttle hang issue solved so I have to switch roms and have it tuned from scratch and they didn't have time for that today but Tuesday at 11 is my next date with the dyno, I think the rom ending with 2706 or some thing 06 is the bad one, 03lances , it's ur one!!!

Hmm strange I have not noticed any throttle hang. (Or its possible I dont understand exactly what the problem is) either way sorry to hear you could not get tuned. I have decided I will not be getting a pro tune ever, at least on this car. I am very happy with the full range of power I have right now and all my logs tell me I am still running very safe

Why don't you guys just use the 94170015 variant of the v7 rom? Coming from an evo 8 i had the best luck with that one.

Wait just a second. I am using that one I even just double checked to be sure and I am running 94170715 rom. Zulu either at some point you guys switched to another rom after I gave you mine as a template or the tuning dude looked at the wrong number.

You already do that rom i listed is just a v7 rom which is superior in so many ways to the stock evo rom. If you want less tunability and less defined roms you could use any eligible evo 8 rom.

I suggested the v7 roms for two good reasons:

1) They are highly defined
2) They have special features not available in stock form (IE knock light)

Well that's weird 03lances, I'm pretty sure u gave me ur rom where all the changes were already done correct? Hmm bc we didn't change to any other roms.

This is what throttle hang is......so it's time to boost and u punch it in 3rd, shift to 4th and coming up on 4500-5000 rpm, u decide to change to 5th...well u push the clutch in and instead of the rpms dropping, they stay up until u put it in 5th and release the clutch

Ok this is what I thought throttle hang was and I can say for sure I do not have this problem. as soon as I push in that clutch and let off the gas the rpms drop. I am positive the rom I sent you is the same 94170715. I have never used any other Tephra rom so its the only one I have with the necessary changes to run with our cars.
