I got the jegs 3" electric cutout http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS/555/30832...ductId=1231909 $149.99 without shipping and i ordered the jegs 3 cutout http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS/555/30752...oductId=751312$32.99 i then welded 2 bolt flanges so it would bolt straight to my megan 3'' downpipe and megan 3" cat. IS anyone going to be at Import Face Off in GA the 21?

I only got 1 run in before it broke and I had just rolled in off the highway after a 2.5 hour drive and completely forgot to change my tire pressure it was 50psi :'( time was 15.6 I think @95mph 2.6 60'. The second run lowered pressure to 25 and I didn’t even get off the line. But I guess that meant I got traction lol. It really sucked what was worse was the track official looked at me and laughed and said "yep these things are built for this" And the other pulled a video camera out and said laughing" I got to get a video of this" And they said I blew an axle..... I don’t think they know the first thing about a car but anyway. I was running the same set up that I was before so right at 200 whp. And I didn’t dump the clutch on either run. Just a normal take off since spun so hard the first time. Also GA was fun I guess even though it got cancelled. And it was just sprinkling where we were there waiting.

So when I was removing all the parts to pull the Trans I noticed my left wheel bearing had a bad spot in it. And also that my lower ball joint's were both leaking. So I figured it’s time to put the Evo front LCA's and Bilstein struts in. I can’t us Evo hubs or knuckles since I’m still using the lancer axles. The stock evo LCA's big round end is taller than my stock lancer so I’m putting in the evo K member also, The stock lancer knuckle seems to fit the Bilstein and Evo LCA but will post pictures once its together and on the ground.

Just a heads up, if you install Evo front lower control arms on a Lancer the spindle gets relocated about an inch toward the front of the vehicle. The Evo has a longer wheelbase than the Lancer. Check out posts 33 & 34 here:
