thanks..i got a decent deal on them.. rods alone are 800 and there rated for 550+ if i remember right.

u can find motors at almost every salvage company for really cheap.. ive picked up 3 in the last year all for under 400 each. u can get the rods from a few different placed, i got mine from another member who ended up not using them

pauter rods guys

I will hopefully have real pics come next weekend.. motor should be all put together with the next 2 weeks. gotta drop it off at the machine shop for some work first.

kinda hard to tell from picture. But Is the wrist pin a larger size on those rod's and piston combo? specs hehe :P

k1 rods are about half the thickness of pauter rods.

pauter rods ftw!

remember, you'll need to make room for the rods. they are too wide and will hit the bottom of the cylinder.

its not really funny.. its pretty common with aftermarket rods with a few different motors

suspension mods have all be done on the car for a long while now.. only upgrade im doing is a 17x9.5 wheel with 275/45 tires. custom fenders for them to fit. but i run my 24.5x8.5x15 slicks at the track, so the street tire upgrade is really just for the 'show' side of the car since it doesnt see any street time anymore.

yup, got a deal on mine also. both the pauter rods and wiseco pistons for $900 together.

they require about 1/16" clearance, if i recall, nothing major
