Correct. If you're looking for the best availability of parts to turbo your Lancer, the 16G6 turbo is the one you want. If you are adamant about sticking with this turbo then you'll need to find a fab shop because everything will be custom (and costly). I can understand how some people will pick the turbo and build their kit around that. However, in this case it is not the best option. Trust me, the 16G6 won't let you down.

search , we dont get paid to answer questions .lol seriously you'll need the same thing as turbo'ing any other car ...

different heat range plugs
bigger fuel pump
wideband air/fuel gauge
adjustable fuel pressure regulator
down pipe
something to tune the computer with etc

... its not something to be taken lightly a wrong tune and even 6psi you'll be walking down the highway picking up your connecting rods ....

a td04 is a small lil guy ,Im pretty sure it has a bigger outlet housing then a dsm turbo but the flange is different , and I also believe the turbo is a low pressure model meaning it'll be worthless , if anything look for a garrett t-3 if you wanna go custom.

we sell a manifold that will directly bolt a 16G evo 8 turbo to the lancer head allowing you to use the evo 8 intercooler, pipes, downpipe and intake

Read my thread in my sig from beginning to end, its long but for good reason there is a ton of info you need in order to do what you want. If you have to set a bookmark on pages with real juicy info that you know you will be refering back to later so you dont have to search for it everytime you need it

dont waste your money on an adjustable fuel pressure regulator.

get bigger injectors( preferably wrx 440cc injectors) and a walboro 255 fuel pump. then get your car flashed. good tuners dont even touch fuel pressure regulators until 500+hp.

Chope045 bro just read the threads man no one is going to keep giving you answers unless you read them!!! We all did the research some of us have turbo lancers, some of us are getting ready to build "me of course" and I had to read every thread in order to get my questions answered

i know im a little late... but the Volvo turbo is a t-3 flange the only difference is that the Volvo uses a gasket-less flange... and the 15g will do about 15lbs and the 16g will do about 22 lbs
