was at the shop all day today. i didnt really work much. but i got a bunch of small things done, took care of most the problems i have found/figured out the past few days.. only one i did not fix was the exhaust, will more then likely be taken care of tomorrow..
snapped a couple pics, because iknow the cell phone pics suck.. but my battery died, so i only took 4pics and the camera turned off.

just another day closer to being finished...

IF i go to the shop tomorrow, list of things to do will be, finish fixxing exhaust, hook it up, put the bumper and headlights back on, and put in the hood pins... i have a list all writen out of this that i need to do, im getting through it slowly.

only update i have is this one pic..
Q finally started on the radiator stuff..

water neck feed and return in this pic

Feed goes down basically just like the factory exhaust would. and both feed/return follow the factory exhaust route to the trunk, but its not even close to finished

Won't that be really hot? Or are you going to shield the tube all the way down, and wrap the exhaust? Are you having to modify the water pump (I'm assuming all the extra volume and distance is going to need a more substantial pump)?

the heat on that one section shouldnt be a big deal. its alot further away then it looks. and my exhust goes out the bumper so it doesnt really come close to anything at all..

i dont know if ill need to add an inline pump or not.. its actually not that much more volume of water. That was my origonal concern.. but i dont have any other options because the guy im workin with wont do anyhting else to fix his issues he started.. my weekend job has now been sitting 4 weeks at his shop for what i was told would be an easy in and out weekend job... we will just have to see how it goes once its running.. if its not working properly ill be adding a inline meizer waterpump back at the radiator to help push water back to the motor.

i was told that the radiator will be finished tonight... that means all i need to do is check a few things, prime the motor, and check for leaks, and then it will be good to start tuning. touringbubble said hes ready for me and standing by to get started with this thing..

Quick update... Assuming no issues come up... Q has been workin hard to finish my car cuz he has some other projects coming and im sure hes tired of dealin with my car

Car should be home tuesday...
i have 3 buddies erkin to come over and help me knock out my small list of easy thing to check and take care of..
ive already called touringbubble and hopefully he will be able to come over and help get this thing started.

theres nothing left to do really. just checking a bunch of things, and priming the motor. purging the old gas and checking for leaks. oh.. and painting the cage.

Do you have any videos of this car? I am interested in seeing what this thing can do. The build just amazes me. You are the only lancer I have seen with this much work and creativity. Def in the top 3 lancers I have given much credit to.
