thanks hobie, most states are starting to adopt the CARB standard as it is the strictest in the nation. 50 state smog legal is nice for any mod, no worrying about anything, incase you move or sell the car.

Anyways I think the SC kit looks good so far, the more the merrier and I hope they got for CARB too just to give us all more options.

You can't please some people on these forums. It's like trying to make a Michael Jackson normal looking.

maybe u could set up the S/C so it runs right above the headers...and pipes to the intake maybe? so instead of a long bar u got the S/C'r there etc. just an idea, maybe it wouldn't fit there i can't really tell from the pics. just an idea....

either way it kiks ***
You kinda need that bar considering that's the driveshaft the crank is turning to spool the compressor side of the supercharger.

i know thats the bar, what i was saying is have that bar still..but instead of the s/c'r way over on the right side of the car by the battery...maybe in the middle running in front of the manifold...if it would fit. it'd be a smaller bar...and easier to spin..robbing less HP..but say it robs 15HP from the bar for it all to spin...ur still gaining 70-100+HP after its done....just a suggestion lol.

and i didnt know that was as SDS trademark, my bad don't hate me. its the only one i've seen...im used to v6-v8 s/c'rs that sit right between the block or wutnot etc. but if that long bar is there trademark, than have it man! i'd take one if i had the money...do they know any costs yet?

wuts wrong with michael jacksons looks? lmao

i like the S/C'r i think it looks nice...and its another option besides RRM or RPW unless ur goin custom.

its all gonna come down to price...i havent heard any #'s on the price of the S/C'r...if its close to RRMs IC-Turbo i could see it being a tough debate on which is better, i dunno though, it would be pretty cool to see them race though....with same mods just ones S/C'd the other is T/C'd

The more the better (catback over axleback). You must have a header or there will be to much back pressure.

have you guys launched the car yet?

i dunno...some guy supercharged his v6grandam and it made to much power and he went from a 16.2 1/4 mile to 14.9 and he couldn't get any grip...and its a pontiac grandam 95....and there is no aftermarket for that car lol...no LSD for it or anything...its weird for me to look on a site thast not 'carparts.com' or 'autozone.com' and see parts for my car now lol.

so with that said...do u have a LSD on the car...have u launched it...could u 'in essence' be like a Viper and slam on the gas and it would spin til the tires blew out? =) just questions and stuff

I think the SuperCharger is around $3100.00 or so. Don't quote me but I know it's close to that.
