thinking about going turbo
I have been reading a ton of threads on turbo set ups and I'm thinking my best option is to piece together a ralliart set up for my 2010 gts. if I end up doing this I plan to have a shop do the install/tune for me since I don't have a garage/tools available for the install. if I provide all the parts how much would you think the install/tune would cost.
another thing I want to be sure of is I want this system to be reliable since this car is my daily driver. if this system is installed and tuned right do you guys think I will have any issues as far as reliability goes?

Assuming you have a manual run 7 lbs of boost have a decent tune and change your oil every 3 k miles. Yes you should not have any issues. It will put some added strain on everything but if your not racing everyday and take car of your car you will be fine. As far a pricing goes? Tune figure $600-$1000 and install figure $500-$800

If its cvt add about $350 + to your price for cvt cooler kit thats required. If you have manual then with any boost under 10 lbs and a tune just dont get on it every day. I m not turbo'ing mine till the warrenty is gone.

ok so I'm trying to make a list of everything I will need to give to the shop that will be installing the system (if I go with the stock ralliart system)
if I miss anything please let me know so that I can make sure I have it all set to go when I bring it to them.
Turbo
Exhaust Manifold
ralliart Cat back exhaust
Intercooler
upper and lower IC Piping
O2 Housing
Down pipe
BOV
Oil return/feed lines
water feed/return lines
boost, a/f, exhaust temp gauges

you know, there is no flange right behind our cats...the ralliart catback wont really work, youll have to cut your piping and weld on the catback. just saying
