engine swap check list
Going to call my friend and go to his house to swap my engine so here we go with my list.
Built Engine
Complete head
Radiator fluid
Conventional oil 10w-30
Brake Fluid
Act clutch
All 3 new belts
Radiator "coming tuesday"
Gasket sealer for oil pan
This is all I can remember im at work so I think I have more than this
Im curious about the oil suck tube above the oil pan, do I need a gasket for that or do I just bolt it up? And can someone upload some links for me to see all the torque specs for the bottom block because I have to swap parts out from my old block to my new one.
Hopefully Tomorrow turns out a success

steven. the ' oil suck tube ' ur refurring to has a gasket, I would just reuse the one u have on the working motor already.
trq specs.. umm.. Depends on the parts. Headstuds id trq to whatever headstuds specs on the ARP packaging is. same withsimiliar parts.. anything that wasnt 'inside the engine' i just do to hand tight with a little human trq into it. (like engine/trans bolts, oil pan, valve cover etc etc..)
if u do a search i remember senate or someone posted some trq specs to our motors a while back that was straight off All-data
Oil pan i would suggest using the Grey Silicon u can get from autozone, its the best stuff.
