Did RRM and Boe post all supporting mods with these numbers yet? I'm having a brain fart. If not, could we get a list of all parts involved, per car? These are pretty impressive numbers, I'd like to know what I'll be having to get to go this high.

I'm curious how similar the mods are.

Also curious as to how much of a difference the octane rating had on these results; i see that RRM was boosting at 12 whereas boe was at 10. did the octane have anything to do with higher numbers besides the boost?

Octane had to do with what is safe to run. All stuff on both cars is for sale and available to all. Our car had a bit of porting that Boe's didn't plus a different IC. That is about it just ran more boost with our car.

i wouldn't worry too much about what you CAN get out of the engine...worry more about how long it will last at any more than 7 or 8 psi max...there's plenty of threads on this, in fact thers info in this thread if u look back a bit...

True Lancer driven! People are fixated on PSI. Power and reliability are the keys. We have RRM turbo cars that are running over 2 years now with no problems. That is how we wanted it to be. We spend a lot of time testing drivability and reliability too!

I've been running at 10 pounds for quite a bit now... i've got je's but still stock rods. Most would say that is crazy but there have been no issues and i've beat the hell out of the car as i can't seem to stay off the gas.

Kill story--- Last night coming back from a San Diego, my girl driving , a 350Z pulls up... she decides to race him... this is what i was looking for as i know a 350Z is pretty comparable to an evo. Pitty it's really not my kill story, it's my girls, but it was my car so.... anyway she put it in 4th and immidiately started pulling. Then fifth and the lead grew... by 120mph we had over 3 car lengths. She hit the brakes and he flew by then hit his... he came along side again... guess he wasn't ready the first time so he takes off... my girl drops it and launches from his driver door past his front in an instant... then she puts in fifth again and bye bye 350z. This time she kept it floored and we hit 130+ then i said enough as not being behind the wheel at that speed got me a little nervous. The 350z slowed and then later took an exit giving us the thumbs up. I have to give it to my girl and RRM... damn nice performance by both!

what size exhaust piping does the RRM drag lancer has? i'm pretty curious to see if its still using 2.25" at 12 psi.. i'm definately going for a stage two set up by the end of this year.. so before i get custom piping done.. i'm curious to see what size piping the car has pushing 12 psi, and what type of I/C it has on.. thanks for any input..

a thought just came up. when the drag lancer blew it's rods, was it because of detonation or it just couldn't handle the power?

Drag lancer had the normal intercooler RRM sells. It had custom catback with free flowing muffler. The stock return/down pipe was still used.

The drag lancer seemed to run fine at 12/13 psi on stock rods... there was no detonation. ROCK got a little bit crazy and turned the boost up to 15... still there was no detonation the rods just snapped under the pressure. Was a real shame as i'd like to know if the stock rods could hold the 12/13 psi for long. The seemed to but they only did like 6-7 passes at that. Plus about 15-20 passes i did during tuning. Ohh well guess we'll never know until someone pushes them on their own.

It made for a cool video though!
