I'm not sure on the series I'll have to check.

I'll try and get some sound clips and post them in the next few days.

Hey Twinkie just check with your local muffler shops and have them give you an estimate. It only took them about an hour to fabricate and install mine.

All I'm waiting on now is the time to install the kit. Having two jobs doesn't help. I will probably be installing the kit the week of Thanksgiving.

I did get a chance to go to a drag strip and run it n/a for a comparison so when I get my turbo in.

This is the first time I've ever run a 1/4 mile.........

1st Run
1/4 mile: 17.658
MPH: 78.96

2nd Run
1/4 mile: 17.555
MPH: 80.46

Glad that I could help out as I struggle to finish my kit
I'm planning on installing the kit Thanksgiving week since I'm off. Hopefully everything will go smoothly. Just in case anyone is wondering here is my final parts list for my kit.

Ported T25 turbo w/ internal wastegate
Stock Evolution 8 Intercooler
Oil feed/return lines from www.cheapturbolines.com
Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump
GReddy Profec B Spec II EBC
GReddy Type-S BOV
HKS Turbo Timer
Autometer Boost and Air/Fuel Gauges
RRM Up/Down pipes
Slim Reversible Fan
2 Cold start additional injectors
Programmable Additional Injector Controller from www.splitsec.com
Various parts - Vacuum tube, Tees, fuel line, clamps, bolts, oil, etc.

I will probably end up having custom intercooler piping made by the same shop that installed my exhaust. I bought the stock Evo 8 pipes but to get them to fit I would have to ghetto rig them and I really don't want something I've spent this much money on to look cheap.

I can't wait to see what my 1/4 mile time is afterward pgmike

are you getting the HT kit from rrm or are you just getting the up/down pipes? i didnt think they were willing to just sell the pipes seperately.

The turbo build starts today! The fuel pump will be installed first because if that doesn't work...I'm ****ed on everything else.

So wish me luck!

Had to wait til today to start because it was too dark when I got off yesterday, but so far I've got the fuel pump in. It was a little too big but I got it to work. Right now I'm about to remove the stock fans and replace with the SPAL slim fan.

Can someone tell me the best method to remove the stock fans and where to plug the slim fan into the stock harness?

Ok so far I've got the 255lph walbro fuel pump installed, I've got my Evo 8 intercooler mounted, I've got my up pipe bolted on, I found out I'm gonna have to turn my turbo around with the wastegate facing toward the passenger side of the car to keep it from hitting the radiator.

The fuel pump took a couple of hours because it was a little larger than the stock pump and the pump bracket had to be modified a little so it would fit, but the car cranked right up once I pressurized the fuel system. As expected it's running a little rich. After that I played with the intercooler piping.

That's all I had time for before it got too dark to see anything. I'm planning on tapping the oil pan and actually installing the turbo itself Monday.

Well I finally got the turbo mounted.

Not everything is bolted up yet, but I got it fitted.
