Talking Just got off the Dyno!!

Wuzzup everyone, well so far i have been seeing dyno #'s from RRM kits which have been pretty impressive. But manly on cars in the mid and west coast areas. But since i live way down south. Like as in the Miami, fl area. I was able to have a custom Turbo kit installed. well anyways i just got off the dyno today after just having the E-manage installed and at 8 pds of boost i was able to hit 200.2 to the wheels with 172.2 torque. But i ran into 1 problem, my clutch is slipping really bad so i know that my horsepower could be alot more but did not want to force it because the car is still a daily driver and i need to get to work. Well my question of the day is, I know that rrm sells a complete clutch kit which i will probably go that route and buy or does anyone know of any other clutch kits made for our car?

P.S.- as soon asifigure out how to use my scanner i will be scanning my dyno sheets. i was only able to do 2 passes because of the clutch.

1500-2000? Wow. You must know some people and got really hooked up. What's your AFR like? Probably pretty good with those injectors. Good numbers though, get a new clutch and tell us how she does then.

Congrats.

The clutch would explain your poor torque output more than anything. The amount you're generating is significantly lower than the RRM outputs with a smaller turbo though, so that may have a lot to do with it. Get a new clutch in there and get us some more numbers. Looking good!

BTW, great to see more custom turbos out there. Keep up the good work!

Nice pull... definately get that clutch fixed and let us know the results. At 8 psi you should be a little higher than that but being safe never hurt. Maybe you can sqeeze in a few more degrees of timing? Good luck and safe boostin!

ya thanx boe, ya after i get the clutch fixed and put it back on the dyno i will let my tech try to play with the timing a little more. but i also think that that reason that i'm not getting as much power as i should is because of the turbo. the turbo is pretty big for the car. the turbo starts to spool at around 3 grand and really dont get full power until around 3900 and then have to shift at 6000 rpm. but will figure that all out after i put in the new clutch.

Nice to hear those numbers! For the turbo, did you have a manifold made?
