Anyone install sirius satelite radio?
Ok, I got the sirius radio set up for Christmas, and I was curious if the stock lancer radio has the plug in ports in the back that I could use to run the satelite radio into the stock system instead of using the FM feature. Also, if anyone has this, how do you have your radio unit mounted? the suction cup thing isn't going to work, I can see that now.

The stock radio only has the CD changer input on it, so it won't work with the Sirius tuner. You'll have to use the FM transmitter from it for that. As far as mounting, find a place that's easy for you to see/use it, and then be creative how you mount it. post a pic of what it looks like and we could probly give you some ideas tho

Hmm, guess when I get a chance I'll go have it professionally installed. I think they have an adapter to wire it in so I don't have to use th FM mode. Thanks.

No they dont have an adapter. Sat radio needs a specific tuner and decoder to work correctly. If you have a stand alone unit you need an RF unit if not you have to have a radio with a built in Sirius tuner.
