hey man, no offense or nothing, but if your asking how to put a tv/radio in your car, you shouldnt be doing it yourself. Car radios are pretty easy, but most tv/dvd systems contain a multitude of different wires. This is not something you should go and try to do yourself using some info (probably incorrect) that some idiot on this site might tell you. I mean yes, car audio does not take a lot of brainwork, but you can **** up your **** pretty easy too. Take it from me, I used to have a 91 eclipse in mint condition with very low miles. Well to make a story short, I hooked up one wrong wire from a deck and ended up frying out half the wires behind the dash. That was my lesson, car was useless after that. I dont advise just tryin to do it yourself, if u have no idea what you are doing. and by the way. No wire in that tv screen would be hooked to the brake light. Shell out the extra cash and get it done right or get someone with knowledge to help you. Just my 2 cents. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE.

i know how to hook up car steros and everything just never did a tv, i just heard that awire hooks up to the brake light so it only works when the ebrake is on. but the diagram also shows it goin to the negative side of the battery so i'm thinkign i dont need to hook it up the the ebrake light and all. that is really my question and all, is doi have to hook it up the the brake light or can i just take it to the negative and be fine.

uhhh all tv screens are spose 2 have a wire that goes into break light in the usa so that when driving it cant be on u can just leave it not wired if i remember right since when ebrake is up it completes circut thus not letting it on but if not hooked up it wont complete it but i do agree take it 2a pro if u arent sure and goto a independent shop and tell em not 2 wire 2 brake thats best way 2 do it cuse like car toys best buy etc wont
