Clucth Bypass

Remote Start on a Manual, I know some of you have done this, and I have a system to prevent starting if in gear... I need to know how you all have bypassed the clutch though. Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

No reprecussions on the cruise control? Excellent... That was my biggest concern, that either 1) pressing the clutch wouldn't kill the cruise, or 2) Cruise just wouldn't work.

Make sure I'm right on this...

Thanks.

it should work
just dont go switching gears it wont cut throttle if you do get it in the right gear and leave it alone when you hit the brake it should still cut the cruise control

In other words, the cruise control uses that switch to disable it when you hit the clutch... And disconnecting it means the cruise control doesn't shut off if you hit the clutch... Did I hear that right?

Actually checked it out... Unhook the switch, and the car starts right up... When you hit the clutch "while cruising" the cruise cuts out like its supposed to...
