Before you completely set your heart on it. One of the major draw backs on that unit is it's almost impossible to by-pass the video feed. So, if your looking to have video played on the screen while driving...I would rethink your option for another indash unit. Unfortunately you MUST have the ebrake up in order to watch video.

you can do a few things
1) on the unit there is a sitcker, there are two traces, if you solder them together it bypasses most of the safety things {pros only}
2) plug the video output into the camera input, you can see half screen of video and half nav, if you want full, put a switched power wire on the rear backup input. when you flip it, the "camera" goes full input
3) get a cdvc1, allows you to input some nav input while driving
btw.....i will honestly say, its dangerous to watch video while driving, no matter how much you intend not to, if its on for a friend, youll end up watching
great unit though!!

^ that's not true...i have a screen in my dash and i never watch it while i'm driving, and my gf has it on all the time whenever we go somewhere. if you dont have the self control to not stare at a screen while you're driving, then you shouldn't have one period.

call some local stereo shops...someone will be able to bypass that for you. i bought a little $5 part from ebay for my alpine, and after 5 minutes to install it, it works perfect.

to bypass it all you have to do is put the e-brake wire on interruptible toggle switch (2-wire pin swicth) hook the e-brake to one side and the other grounded out to any meatal surface and you will be good to go. when you turn it on all you have to do is flip the switch and that stupid a$$ driving while watching warning goes away.

you can easily bypass it by hooking up a simple toggle switch that see's "ground". BUT, you will not be able to bypass the video feed while driving IF you hook up the speed sensor. the integrated gyrometer or whatever its called will notice that your car is moving and will show the warning screen if hooked up. so if you can live w/ out the pioneer speed, g-force and voltage gauges just dont hook it up. (pink wire i think)

^ the d1 doesnt fit, unless you have professional quality skills(to make look nice) or you dont care if you do some chopping to ur dash
^^ it monitors gps and the gyro is built into the screen, that doesnt work
^^^ the old ebrake switch trick doesnt work on the n2
just plug the video output into the camera input with the switch, its the easiest and safest
