I just got a really sweet deal on an audiobahn A18001D amp rated at 600x1@4ohms. originally i was going to power 1 kappa perfect 12.1 but i think i'd rather have a sub that is rated closer to the amp. im not exactly sure what i should be looking for but maybe some ppl here have used this amp. If anyone knows any subs that would bump with this amp, please let me know. oh yea, im not concerned with SPL, more SQ. thanks guys.

Well the Image Dynamics IDMAX would be better suited to handle that amp, the IDQ's would die a quick painful death!! I would use the perfect to be honest with you, those subs can handle a good amount of power and its always better to have to much power and not use it compared to not enough power and try to squeeze it out of thin air!!

personally, if its 600 watts RMS from the amp, you'll be fine with the perfect (a SICK sub by the way).

 

This might be a stupid question but does anyone know how the auto off head lights work, the manuals tell you squat. Do they just turn off if you leave them on accidentally or not.

Try a Kicker Solobaric SL7 12" square sub, dual 4 ohm voice coil. I had a fosgate 500a2 on one in an eclipse it it absolutely kicked serious ****!
