Trunk Dynamat ?
Ok so I have a Greddy Exhaust. On long trips it gets to be a bit droning. I was thinking that Dynamat in the trunk might help. Does anyone have any suggestions on what is best, dynamat or something else ? And how much do you need to do our trunks. I tried to search but didnt find any exact numbers.

all you need is peel and seal, you can pick it up @ Lowes in the roofing isle and it applies and performs just like dynamat xtreme but it only costs $12.00 for 20ft x 6 inches.. do it on all of my cars and it works great

I've got eDead v1se, 2 layers in the trunk, and it makes a HUGE difference to the exhaust noise. you might also consider a layer on the entire floor of the car, it'll help a lot there as well.

Xtreme Dynamat (Silver backing) is by far the best material to use. You definitely get what you pay for. Dynamat is top quality since it provides the most efficient sound deadening per amount of material, and it is most resistant to peeling off under increased temperature situations. A local retailer who carries Dynamat had a demo session regarding Dynamat and showed that to obtain the same amount of deadening from Xtreme Dynamat, you would need 2-3 layers of regular Dynamat (Black backing), and again, 2-3 layers of competition material such as Brown Bread.
You can purchase a trunk kit of Xtreme Dynamat which includes 20 sq. feet of it, and I was able to do my whole trunk, trunk lid, my license plate, behind my tail lights, and still have about a 1/4 sheet left over. I have a few pictures of the final product in my build-up thread in my sig. I payed $199.99 for the trunk kit, I'm not sure what it would be in the U.S. or on eBay. I was prepared to spend in upwards of $300, so i went ahead and bought it straight up. Overall, I'd say it has been the best stereo upgrade I've done. Bass is crisp and fills the cabin more effectively, and my car doesnt rattle to pieces making me look like an idiot when my stereo is on at a red light. As long as my windows are up, it's no longer intrusive to have the stereo pounding when next to other vehicles.
