Well d@mn, now that's a budget... Since I don't have one, nor have ever had a car with one I cannot recommend one first-hand. But if you have a Tweeter in your area, that's a good spot to check out. If they're anything like mine up here, they'll have very knowledge associates that can hook you up right!

 

are you serious 2000$? jeeze, you can get a nice flip screen for $500. That price range would be for a pioneer avic (not flip) with the orbital double din conversion.

i would go with one of the pioneer 6.5 inch flips that are touchscreen and gps and satelite n all that

i have a pioneer avic n3 and i love it best mod ive ever bought for my car. lots of features

 

i have the old pioneer avic n1. i love it. but if i were to re-do everything, i think the pioneer z1 is a sexy beast

go with the double din conversion kit and get a double din screen. It will give your lancer a sexy and elegant display. I would do that if i had the money, i got a flip out screen instead. Works well but doesn't look as clean.
