Car + iPod

Hi

Trying to find a car charger for my 4th generation iPod nano, one that let me play music/video while charging. Picked up a no name brand charger, but when I plug it in, it doesn't let me do anything besides charging (I guess it was charging).

Anyway... Let me know if you know a brand/model charger with no FM transmitter (I have the jack to RCA cable) that would let me play and charge the same time.

Thanks a bunch

if you want to charge and play with no FM transmitter, you will need an aftermarket radio with ipod control capability and an ipod cable.

yea, I used to use a iTrip with a mini usb cable from my cig lighter from griffon. It worked amazing actually, best I've had and heard with any FM Transmitter. I have an Alpine deck and got a AUX cable for like 40 bucks and trust me, with that quality you wont want to go back to anything else. You best simple fix would be to buy a charger kit and put your headphones in...otherwise like that guy said, you gotta get an after market deck.

I'm not sure if u have the RCA input jacks, but if you do you can buy the Official Apple composite cable and get a usb to 12v cig light adapter such as this one.

That's basically what I use except the USB car cigarette lighter I use it made by nexxtec. (Circuit City brand)
