4 chan amp how does it work?

Okay currently I am using a single channel fosgate p300-1, that I am gearing up to sell for a 4 chan amp... my question is this... once I drop money on this amp I will have invested a little less than a grand in less than a month in completely upgrading this system..

I have some decent speakers on the front deck being powered by this one channel amp... if I was to buy this amp, and only have the front deck wired up until I get I the rear deck, how much power would be supplied to front deck...

the amp is 100wrms x 4... would I damage the amp with just two chans wired upfor the time being

this is the amp I have
P300-1

each channel has a dedicated power supply. each channel WILL ONLY get 100 watts RMS. only if you bridge the channels will it give you 200 watts per channel. also, they do make 4 channel line out converters, so you can replace that 2-channel one you are using with a 4-channel, or just get another 2-channel....why wait to wire it up??

Because I am running out of mounting room, and i think it would look hella nice to have two alpines in the back anyways, not a alpine and fosgate... plus this fosgate amp will go good with my fosgate 15s that I have in the closet just chilling... they happen to be 150rms and this is a 300wrms amp
