My new 12"s
#16
continuous power
250W x 1 @ 4-Ohms RMS
500W x 1 @ 2-Ohms RMS
1000W x 1 @ 1-Ohm RMS
Thats the amp specs, anyways, what could have made them fail? if they were at 1, 2, or 4 ohm?
EDIT: How should I wire the subs for this amp, just in case I buy new subs in the future, dont wanna blow em too
EDIT: Had the amp at 35 Hz, could that have been too low for the subs and blown them?

and if they really are 600 RMS, they shouldnt be smoking/burning/smelling on a 1000 watt amp....

Yea I know right, well the amp on the birthsheet is ~1478 RMS, thats like ~200 something RMS over the subs but my gain isnt even tuned up to the max (not even close, if that has anythign to do with it... lol)

so what do u think? Is there something I can do?
I do not know if those subs were properly broken in.
If all is lost then I can get 2 of these but 15" for 170, but those are 1000 RMS each so man if these blow then I just suck.
