continuous power
250W x 1 @ 4-Ohms RMS
500W x 1 @ 2-Ohms RMS
1000W x 1 @ 1-Ohm RMS

Thats the amp specs, anyways, what could have made them fail? if they were at 1, 2, or 4 ohm?

EDIT: How should I wire the subs for this amp, just in case I buy new subs in the future, dont wanna blow em too

EDIT: Had the amp at 35 Hz, could that have been too low for the subs and blown them?

They are 2 12" Rockford T1s I think 600 RMS 120 Max Each so both are 1200 RMS 2400 Max (and underrated, like all rockford subs)

Just dont know if they are 2 ohm or 4 ohm since their identical

ok so you need 2 dual 4 ohm subs, wired up in parallel to achieve 1 ohm at the amp. since its 1 ohm stable, you shouldnt be having any problems...

and if they really are 600 RMS, they shouldnt be smoking/burning/smelling on a 1000 watt amp....

so what do u think? Is there something I can do?

I do not know if those subs were properly broken in.

If all is lost then I can get 2 of these but 15" for 170, but those are 1000 RMS each so man if these blow then I just suck.

I could have gotten these in the first place but damn man 2 15"s thats just crazy.

Supposably everyone says that the new t1s and t2s are nto as durable as the old punch/power hx2s

Allright final judgement... Do I throw these 2 t1s in a lake? That would make a heck of a video on youtube.

oh well if the HX2s are better quality, id say youre good, but you are going to need to have a seriously big box for them to run efficiently, not some Q-Logic thing lol
