Need Wire Diagram for 09' Lancer GTS
Does anyone have a wire diagram for a 2009 Lance GTS? Specifically, I need to know what each of the four wires leading into the subwoofer does. Are all four speaker wires that were bridged? Or does two represent audio control features (e.g., sub bass). If so, which two are speaker +/- wires? I can figure out the wires for the component speakers, but if someone has a diagram then this would save me time.

Search the Evo X section there is a picture with the wires shown.
The subwoofer is a dual coil voice subwoofer, its like you have two subwoofers in one which explains the four wires. two are positive and two are negative. Its just a fancy way to increase the ohms and watts of the subwoofer.

Np. If you plan to change to a new 5 channel amp to power your subwoofer, double check the ohms and watts it puts out to the sub.
The reason is the OEM Subwoofer is rated very low, so any aftermarket amp will blow it.

I set the converter low and connected a mono d-class amp to power a 12" spl sub... sounds great!!! Pumping 1000 RMS. I currently have a enclosure I put together in 20 minutes. Next, I'm going to work on a fiberglass enclosure for the trunk. I'm also going to add another converter (waiting for it to come in the mail) and connect a 4 ch amp to power components (150 RMS per channel). yeah the stock RF sub looks nice, but would blow in a second.

Sounds like it was a good choice for you. As for me, I wanted the navi, which I've kept. As for the additions, they came at no cost to me - so I'd figured I'll throw it in.
