hello people i am trying 2 decide what 2 do as far as putting a tv in my car, im trying 2 decide if i should get a monitor that goes on the dash and hook it up to a dvd player or a playstion2, or get a t.v. that drops down from the ceiling which would look better. because indash tv's are 2 expensive right now! also pics would help 2 thanks alot!

just get an in dash monitor and a ps2 ... no point of getting an in dash with a dvd player and then have a ps2

yeah even the cheapest indash ive seen is like $450, when i can get a monitor for $120 and get a dvd player or a playsation2, im saving myself alot of money!

Getting an in-dash means you'll have to pull over when you want to change cds or something though. That's the one downside of my Eclipse setup and the biggest reason I'm selling it (shameless plug ).

hey don't buy anything yet. My friend has an indash he payed like 285 for and hooked up an xbox (plays DVDs MP3s and regular cds best of all plays games) xbox cost like 110 local pawnshop. sounds and looks great i will get you the info on the tv its a 6.4 inch. thats like 400 and you have everything.

mega mall my good man...... mega mall . my buddy got a new screen for $120 w/ tv tuner 6.5 inch screen (not motorized... you know, the basic screen that you can put anywhere). also picked up a new dvd player for about $120 also.

you can always have a headunit in the lower cubby hole so u can still listen to music

thats what i plan on doing having a monitor up top and my radio/cd reciever in the bottom

check out e-bay, a friend of mine bought tvs there that go in to the visors, it was like 400 for both tvs and they look sweet
