My Stereo upgrade
I bought the car end of January and tow weeks later stared the stereo upgrades. Right now I have a Kenwood DDX616 receiver, JL G6600 6 channel amp, 2 JL12w02's ported. Also put in a backup camera while I was at it. On to the pics.
I started with the metra kit that did not fit so good.
Looked at the JDM kit but it was $$$. Got a kit off EBAY for about $30, much better fit.

The amp is installed in the trunk using the factory spare tire hold down bolt to keep it secure.
I used 1" nylon spacers to raise the amp high enough to clear the bolt.
Ran the wires in the factory wire chase. Power on driver side, rca's and speaker on the passenger side.
Breaker mounted on the firewall.
Ran the power wire though the grommet in the center of the firewall.
Box was originally built for a 2002 neon, luckily it fit in the lancer.
Added this crooked sticker today.

The backup camera was pretty easy install. Ran a wire from the radio to the trunk to the backup lights for camera trigger. Then grabbed power and ground from driver side reverse light for camera. Mounted the camera above the tag.
This was the first mount. Didn't really like it much. It stuck out too far and looked kinda meh.
Ran the wires into the trunk through this vent on driver side.
This is where I mounted the camera in round two.
The bracket was straightened up and painted black before final mounting.
Now it looks much better and is tucked up nice and neat.
And the camera comes on when I shift into reverse.
