compuster > all.

Remote start/Alarm causeing problems with the ECU? Bull****.

Get it installed by somebody who isnt 12 years old and it will work fine. (In other words, get a GOOD isntaller)

Hey man I got the compustar one but it gets installed on wednesday.

Does it also unlock/lock the doors? I dont wanna have 3 remotes hanging off my keychain. Also, mine came with just 1 set, for 380 canadian I thought it would come with at least 2 of each.

Anyways, Im also getting it to open the trunk, Im not sure if I wanna get it to also release the hood and gas lid.

I forget what brand mine it...black widow perhaps...but it has the pager. It doesn't mess with the ECU..everything works well...i have the passive alarm set so it arms after the turbo timer goes off.

yeah...clifford, viper, hornet,......well you know all those DEI brands all have a remotestart/alarm/door lock thing on them. On some of the models you can even add more modules to roll up and down windows....proximity sensors....basically control anything that uses electricity on the car (turn on ground neon)...you know whatever you imagination can come up with. DEI in my opinion seems very expandable and flexble. My unit is made by hornet...but is pretty much the same thing as the other DEI versions...just look through them and see what systems have all the features you are looking for
