Alpine SEC-150R security system
I'm getting the Alpine SEC-150R installed on friday at circuit city (I know I know, but they did good jobs on the numerous installs they did on my car). It's priced at 329.99, but that's include the installation, which I guess is 80 dollars since the system's MSRP price is 250. They said my car probably need a relay, because most Mitsu's do, and they just didn't have info on our lancers. Also, I'm looking at getting an extra battery just because I don't want the system to not work simply because the bastard cuts the battery line. Total comes about 410 dollars with system, relay, and battery, all installed. I was just wondering what you guys think of the system? And is it worth my bucks? I think the SEC-150R is superior than the other things they had in the stores because it has a radar sensor alarm as standard.

where are you putting the second battery? And is the alarm just running off the 2nd battery or is it sort of like a bypass thing? I think thats a decent alarm...just make sure your alarm LED is in a highly visible location.

Not sure where I'm putting the 2nd battery, I guess wherever Circuit City puts it, I'm pretty sure they'll put it somewhere invisible. I think they're just going to run it on the 2nd battery, since he brought up the bypass, and he said nevermind after I said I'd love a 2nd battery.
