not bad but i easily ran mine via the a-pillar just now...i just have to look up what color are the ignition wires so I can splice off of that or just do what you said...i hate just stuffing a wire into a fuse....too ghetto for my case

anybody know some wire colors I could use off the top of their heads

I have a Cobra 9300 with a long straight cord. I run it horizontally across the dash toward's the driver door then between the door and dash and underneath the steering wheel column to the lighter.

my radar detector is installed and i fished the wires all the way over to the cigarette lighter but i splice it off the main pink wire as opposed to the brown wire...it works perfectly
