Something to keep in mind, you can't tune a reflash by yourself, something like EcuTek requires a trained professional in order to make any changes to the tune.

We're not talking about an A.S.E. mechanic. We're talking about a professional tuner. There's a difference.

But amby is right - you can't self tune stuff like EcuTek right out of the box, but I think they do offer software if you're adventurous enough to try and DIY it.

I think you have to pay separately for the software but I'm not sure. I've heard that you get unlimited reflashes/cheap reflashes after you've paid for the system and the license.

Yeah, the software is separate.

Which is better? Dyno or Road tuned?
won't happen. NA doesn't tune that way. Most I have seen from tuning alone (stock car, no bolt-ons other than a piggyback) is maybe 8% increase (and thats usually on a v6 or v8). You generally gain very little by re-tuning a stock NA car....but you almost always get better fuel economy and pick up 1-3hp/torque across the rpm band.

Yeah, but it's a slow process. They've been working on it since the car first came out. But I'm still eagerly awaiting it since it seems like the best option available.

Not doggin out RRM (i bought a pulley and intake from them and i'm happy with the two) but people keep talking about how they're not getting any results from it. My cousin has a 2007 civic with just intake and Hondata reflash and you can really and i mean really feel the difference. Both products have the same price range but i'm looking for a greater gain for the price.

In conclusion i'm VERY interested in this WORKS reflash! does anyone have any info on it at all? as in dynos or anyone on the inside?

Well don't forget your friend's car is a Honda and the reflash is probably the best mod you can do short of forced induction.

Very true because i had a prelude with just hondata reflash, CAI,2.5" catback, and some DC headers and i took WRX's like nada.

I just hope this reflash will give us enough gains to REALLY notice a difference in power. By the looks of it, i think it's gunna be a good mod due to the time put into it.
Anyone know when it's comin out or any testing results on it?

Jesus, i still cant believe ECUtek hasn't had any updates with our lancer...

And before someone says contact Sean...I already tried.

Also, with all the ecu work on the EVO...(yes i know its a evo blah blah) you would have thought someone would have given the lancer a quick glance
