I have the tsudo exhaust and i love the deep sound.
mines cvt also and when i go in drive mode i only hit 2000 rpms to get to speed is all i need (didnt mean to rhyme lol)
and when im in sport mode it just compliments it. i let off the gas when im about to shift too. its a habit LOL. i used to have a manual.
-AND THE ONLY REASON why i got the exhaust was cause i bought it off someone for 50 bucks compared to $225 off some site. OTHERWISE

i got the HKS exhaust, i have no problems with it being too loud or annoying, when im on the freeway in D mode my exhaust is almost silent. ive been told my co workers to go louder which i found pretty funny.
my girlfriend however says it gives her a headache when we ride together from the inside and she drives an 09 es

I think the sound will really depend on the type of exhaust you get and how it's matched with the intake, and other performance mods. Universal, Axle back, cat back, mandrel bends, machine-bent, etc. Everything will be different.

Greddy SE sounds legit, not ricey or farty, just sexy. Sounds weird idleing but just like a lot of the folks here, i drive in sports mode so it sounds great. Its not load its just right and deep. You wont regret getting a nice exhaust for your cvt just not a super loud one cause LANCERS have annoying cabin noise already and a loud exhaust wont help

i have a 2009 gts and i have an HKS axleback exhaust with an RRM SRI intake. It sounds fantastic in my opinion. in sport mode it sounds alot better accelerating because you can hear the shifts, as when its in (D) CVT its just a constant roar. it has alot of cabin noise with even more outside noise. which for some may be annoying, but i put it on just for that reason. i would go for it if you like that sound. also between the two i definetly noticed an increase of around 4 mpg if i am driving economically
