Fuel Pressure, How High is Too High????
So I just installed an aftermarket fpr, its supposed to be a rising rate but doesnt seem to be helping. Anyways I can bring my afrs down but I have to set the base pressure at about 62-65psi with the vaccum line still attched at idle. Is this safe??? Will I hurt anything doing this? I have a walbro 255 gss342 fuel pump and 440cc injectors. I can hear my fuel pump noise has changed slightly no doubt due to the higher pressure but I want to know if I could be hurting it.

Hmm i pressume you have a wideband to be able to tell your a/f ratio?
Anyway do you have any form of piggy back/management system apart from stock? It is not advisable using a FPR to alter A/F ratio, its meant to be there for fine tuning although it does help a little but it wont solve your leaning issues all together.
I remember using a FPR that high once and was tested by my tuner "toda racing australia" and all was fine but then we had a SAFC to control a/f as well as a FPR.
I hope that little input helps.
