i have a custom piping exaust with a high flow cat and tsudo titanuim muffler, at idle and low rpm it sounds amazing, deep rumble, but than as boost starts kickin it at 3k rpm or you floor it it sounds , the exaust sounds like its raspy or one of those fart cans that you see on civics... i want this to end! lol i hate the fart noise. anyone have any idea?
if it has to do with the muffler can i put something that looks like stock so people don't think i have work done? thx

 

try putting a resonator in and get a quieter exhuast like a magnaflow or dynomax.

 

i don't want to buy a whole new exaust system... maybe i should just put a new muffler? something similar to the stock ones? so cops don't think i have a fart machine? how much r resanators and where can i get them?

 

I think he was referring to muffler, magnaflow and dynomax both make mufflers

 

you can get them many places, ebay, www.roadraceengineering.com, etc. you dont have to buy a whole new setup, try the resonator b4 the new muffler, should cost less.

the magnaflow and dynomax doesn't sound raspy at higher rpms? it sounds deep through out the rpms?

 

Dynomax mufflers are DEEP. Titanium has the tendency to make higher picthed sounds like that.

 

try a big ol resonator..i put one one mine and it helped out a ton!

how much you pay for your piping and what size?

 

the piping is 2 1/4 inches, i do not remember how much i paid for the piping sorry
all i remember i paid less gettin the custom pipiing with the tsudo muffler than gettin a full cat back from greddy
