CARB has been around for awhile. I know that and I live in Ohio! Yes, you will probably get a ticket if a cop pops your hood. Your only real recourse is to contact Dark Force and ask them about a CARB certification sticker (never hurts to ask). Obviously, you'll want to go back to stock for emissions testing.
And speaking of E-tests, it is not state-wide. Here in Ohio, only 11 of our 88 counties run E-check testing. Just my luck, I live in one of them. It was decided by the state, but only counties with known smog problems are forced to endure them.

CARB has been around since 1981 or so. I don't know when it became mandatory however. Your warranty is federally protected. Know your rights. Look around on sema.org or run a seach and do a little digging on EvoM.

That's it on the fuse box cover. Then, if a cop complains, you can point at it (which will be right next to the intake) and be like "HA!"

at least in cali a cop doesnt need a warrant to search a car. jsut probable cause. hwo do u think people get MIP's? cops dont have random warrants to search a car for weed....they just have "probable cause" which they come up with themselves.....

you can ask for PC, but the cop does NOT need a warrant to search the car.....jsut like if you refuse a breathalizer test you are automatically put in custody.its in our license contract (at least in cali) that they dont need a warrant.

i'm just trying to give you some info here but...... i was looking through a darkforce intake catalog, and it makes no mention of anything being carb certified. most generic/affordable intakes arent (not that being generic is a bad thing). just giving you a heads up incase the company is trying to make a sale and you get upset after the purchase. but hey who knows, i could be wrong.
