Andrew, where do you in NJ? I know a few Lancer owners and we want to start a club. Zlancer (He has an OZ Turbo charged) lives in Clark, close to where I live and I am sure he's down. Let me know when you get a chance.

Are you sure all your taps are correct? I dunno what else to ask right now.
All taps have been infinitely checked over. The problem is that the airflow input signal isn't transmitting to the e-manage. I've got the correct wire spliced and it's crimped real tight, but no matter what I do, I keep getting an error.

Raw, start a new thread in NE regional, PM me or contact me on AIM.

Do you have a diagram of the ECU pinouts, ghost? I can't seem to find the one I was looking at before.

Do you have something like a multi meter to test that you're getting voltage in the AF wire? What about the connection on the e-manage side? Is it possible that's come loose?

Gonna do the multimeter check when I get off work. The connection to the e-manage side is ths solid one, so another thing I'll check later is the actual connection. Maybe I just didn't get a good tap.

It works just the same as the SAFC, with more capabilities (ignition and injector settings, bigger fuel map to work with). On an NA setup like what I currently have, I plan on dialling up a much leaner version of the ultra rich stock air/fuel ratio for the time being.

And once I complete my turbo installation, I can add the Profec e-e01 and it will then also function as my boost controller.

Only problem is installation, which I'm having one hell of a time with. Been so since last night/this morning/this afternoon.

Well, it's been a long time coming, but I do believe I have successfully installed the e-manage in my Lancer. Before, I kept getting errors (11 or 13) and decided to wait on the support software to see if that helped out at all. Sure enough, I plug the e-manage to a laptop and crank it up, and I've got a steady idle! I check the main unit settings and it gave me the key I'd been missing all along: the correct rotary settings! 3-8-4.

I switched from the 3-8-3 I've been suggested, and everything's working fine, both with the laptop hooked up and without. Now it's time to start tuning...

hey guys? I'm installing the e-manage on my mirage, and I have one question. Is the silver wire for the Throttle position? It seems to be the only wire that I'm not sure about. and I don't see any reference to it in the manual.

the gray wire is the throttle position wire. it should be on page 8.

there are lots of advantages to the emanage.

basic unit w/ support tool
modify A/F ratios
compensate for upgraded MAS
compensate for upgraded injectors

w/ ignition harness
change ignition timing

w/ injector harness
program injectors outside stock ecu maps(adjustable beyond stock ecu limits)

w/ pressure sensor (needs injector harness)
takes over when MAS hits allowable maximum readable airflow

this is great because you can add all the extra stuff later when you have a better understanding of how to tune. don't have one yet but gonna get one because this safc isn't doing anything for me anymore. i need more control.

RRM's piggyback tuned a/f, and timing to get its gains correct? we should be able to do the same thing with the emanage could we not...
