whooaa... that was crazy too bad you didnt spring for the 94 octane.. comon its worth the drive, its only a few states away but its gonna make your engine run cleaner and get better gas milage, not to mention the peace of mind knowing you went 3 states away for 2 points of octane.

quick question. do you need a header and SAFC before attempting a pay at the pump with a credit card? i'm saving up for this mod but i'm not sure if i need any tuning after doing this.
how much hp would you say you gain according to the butt dyno?

So what are your gains? I guess its been decided that using a card gives better gains. Nice DIY by the way - I've added it to my favorites! Can't wait to try it myself, but I'm out of gas and can't make to the gas station! Is there anyway I could do this at home? Will it void my warranty?

i felt bad for the guys/girls who use credit cards to pay for gas because this doesnt give them the full help they need.
Pic 1 [Removed]: Slide card (In this particular case, strip goes towards the left)
Pic 2: Choose which gas you want (For NA Lancers Choose Regular, For us "High performers" (lol) choose premium)
Pic 3: Octane varies from state to state. I chose premium which is 91. Be sure to pic which one fits your car the best
Pic 4: Insert hose kajigger into slot A and pull lever (see engineerboy's instruction on this part)
Pic 5: Print Reciept (Yes/No?)
And there you have it. once you do it a few times its really easy, like swapping motors.

You guys are nuts! I was doin' this mod. 10 years ago!!
too bad you didnt spring for the 94 octane..
(uhh.... in case it wasn't obvious, adding water is bad, don't do it. If you do, not my problem)
And just so you guys know, I'm totally against using higher octane than needed. But with the timing being advanced 9 degrees at 4500RPM and the intake, head work, etc pulling in about 50% more air than stock, I would get serious knock without it.
