Gen 2 G92 MIVEC Head w/ Pics = 56K death
http://www.nedecracing.com/MIVEC_DOHC.htm
Here's one of our miragers doing things the diehard way. In the pacific rim countries, there are rumors of G93 MIVEC hybrids, but it's all hearsay w/o any proof. Well, I never found any since 1999 on the net.
Example: I know someone who knows Bob who Knows Kim who has a brother that has seen it, but his cousin is the friend of the dude. It's bad azz, you know. (ya, ya, bad grammar)
Give me about 48 hrs to search within the mirage forums when he compared specs on the G92 head to the G93 head which is the same as the G94, just w/ different cam profile.

Piston theories . . . well, sort of

head comparison
I think there is about 1 or 2 mirages (4g) using the Gen 1 G92 MIVEC. Airquez had seen the car during a mirage regional meet. As for Gen 2, except for Leon, I usually have a healthy dose of skepticism. A lot of people can claim anything on the internet w/o any 1st hand experience or 2nd hand account being validated by a second party or observer.
AS for the fly.to MIVEC site . . . it always wet the appitite but never tells anything that can be done or confirmed here in the US. I admire their cars, but it doesn't have any real hard research data.

Will try to get some pics of that Gen 1 MIVEC if need be. Unfortunately, wont fit our cars, but it was still amazing, and that car screamed!!! Didnt have a tach but sounded like the guy was shifting at maybe 7 - 8 K.
TO put it in perspective, it is like a B16 swap in a D15 Honda.
