it would have to cut fuel no matter what because you don't want to flood the chamber. it could cut spark too, but it doesn't matter as much. cutting both would make it harder to get around though. the cheap way is to make voltage clamp for the rpm sensor, but you need a fuel controller that reads from a MAP sensor AND modify the MAS sensor accordingly.

Currently, there is no way I know of.
RRM's reflash used to do it, but then the reflash guy got greedy. So they had to switch to the piggyback units they're currently selling.
Sorry.

on my manual ive gotten to maybe 6100-200.
well the way i see it is, it will still be pulling on a lower gear and shift later.hence maybe better pull.

yeh i know.
all i got mods wise is an intake w/heat shield, throttle body coolant bypass. and...........thats it. I got an engine damper on the way too, im excited to see how high my car will go then. lol
although i do actually have a problem with my car, when i get higher than 5500k rpm, something in my engine starts to squeal....sometimes. so my car might be reving high because of a problem. lol. we shall see, im getting my timing belt changed, and checking all my belts this week hopefully, (money permitting)

PS - I dunno what you two are talking about. Last I checked, the rev limiter was a clearcut 6250 rpm. If you have variability, I think you're just misreading the gauge.
Works owns all. Of course it's going to stress the engine. So get forged internals!
