I'd have to go back tonight though. It's Weds and Friday street drags here.

It's hot as ***** today though. I know that running in this I would have an extremely hard time even running the 16.6 probably

Said what the hell and dyno'd car today

imgsrc=https://www.evolutionm.net/registry/garage.php?section=dynos&action=manage&vid=3465&ms g=Dyno+successfully+added%21

I hope that works but 3rd gear on a mustang dyno pulled
119.4hp @5500 rpm
115.1tq @4500 rpm

The A/F ration was being monitored by a separate device and they said I was running 11:1 which is more suited to turbo cars. NA needs to be 13:1 or something like that. With an SAFC and proper tuning they say I am good for another 15-20whp.

I attempted a 4th gear pull but the guy quit at 55mph saying that the a/F ratio was 10.7:1 at that point and the car was stuttering.

For comparison purposes I watched the car before me , a 1999-2000 EX with a super charger and he pulled 150hp and 125 tq after their hour of tuning. So according to them I would be close to this guy after tuning if they can extract that extra 20hp. They had told him their dyno reads 15% low but never said anything to me.

SO here it is.

A crash course:
1.) Go to post your message.
2.) Go to manage attachments.
3.) A new window will pop up.
4.) Browse for your pic.
5.) Upload.
6.) Post message on thread.
7.) Make a sandwich and watch as people post on your thread with the mayo dripping on your shirt as you giggle with glee.

doesn't seem too bad on a mustang dyno, though you def. need tuning (maybe something as simple as an FPR can help?)

The torque band looks great... just need to trim that fuel out and you'd be up there.

YEs teh fuel curve will be killing your power and torque. Once you get that sorted out the car will be a killer. A good tune with an emanage or something equivelent nad play with some ignition timing will do wonders for you.

A follow up of sorts. I've been driving on the highway alot and although the car is still untuned I noticed that the gas mileage has started to go up. I regularly was getting over the 100 mile mark before the needle moved below the 3/4 tank position.

I'm looking into some other things right now to finally get the cam tuned but I have been so busy.

I wonder if the ECU has been learning and was able to lean out the A/F some by itself.
In the upper RPMS the car still bogs in 4th gear though and is probably still running extremely rich. I don't spend enough time there for the ECU to know what to do with that anyway.

Here are some of the mods that I had on my 4g93 sohc and all the parts were from RPW so what you are trying to achieve will happen for you

4-1 race design headers 21/4" mandrel bent
big flow cat convertor with cannon muffler
cold air intake with K&N pod filter located behind front bar
55mm Throttle Body
port matched intake
Rising fuel pressure regulator
stage 1 cam and adjustable cam gear
GReddy E Manage
and upgraded air flow meter
semi ceramic clutch
my track times were ok 15.646 sec
dynoed at 137hp at the wheels

keep with it you will get there RPW know there stuff I am so confident with there gear that when the new car arrives in the next few weeks they will be modifying it for me

+1^

Who tuned your Emanage?

What airflow meter did you change to? By that I think you mean MAF..

RPW fitted all the mods to the car themselves and had the car (GReddy) tuned/programmed by a company called Speedworks unfortunately that does not help you guys over were you are... I suppose the reason for me posting this info is to give you hope with the mods that you have with the cars that you have and to continue with the rest of the mods to ensure that you can get some very nice gains in power and torque.... and yes the motor is the 4g93 1.8lt Mirage/Lancer

The Air flow meter that we changed or upgraded is the one that is on the intake pipe - we found that by changing it to a bigger one which was a plug and play it made tuning the car that much better in fact the car drove like a stock car does nice smooth and no inconsistant revving or idle it was truely a pleasure to drive... as to which car it came from I am unsure of as I think that is a trade secret for RPW but I do know that Mitsiman can sort you out better with more details etc...

my car domain site has all sorts of pics and time slips and dyno sheets although Ithink the dyno sheet that is up is not all that good it only shows 127hp @5900rpm but the revs and power were still climbing I chose not to push the car at this shoot out because the car I had to beat was a S2000 with over 200+hp and as you will see that the fuel was not good this was also before the new AFM was changed over
