After all is said and done, you'll probably wish you had just bought the RRM Stage 2 kit. Engine swaps aren't easy, especially when attempting an unproven swap like this. Sure, the engine might drop into the same mounts as the 4G94 engine, but there are a lot of other things to consider. ECU and wiring harness, axles, tranny, fuel, finding replacement parts, etc. In the end, I don't think this swap is going to be worth the expense and hassle.

If you have some good funding, and don't need to drive your car for a long time, then more power to you and best of luck. You would probably have better luck finding a junked MIVEC engine from a Ralliart, at least then replacement parts would be in this country.

EDIT: Actually, this most likely won't work because the engine is the flipped around. The cam gears are on the drivers side, where as the 4G94, the cam gear is on the passenger side. I'm going out on a limb and saying it's not going to fit without new motor and tranny mounts.

thanks everybody for pointing this bad stuff out, i dont have the will or the wallet to go through this much trouble.

this is an older version of 4G93T motor (Tbelt face the wrong way as the 02+ Lancer) so you will need a lot of work to put on the 02+ Laner unless you get the new version of 4G93T off from the 96 or above...
