if u mess with the stock ECU, u gonna screw up your warranty. best thing to do is to buy the piggy back ecu from rrm.

RRM used to have a flash. I guess the guy who wrote the maps took off and took the maps and know-how with him (IIRC it's been a L O N G time since I read that) so now they do the piggys. That's cheaper and faster for install anyway. And since it's an RRM turbo I'd guess the RRM piggy is best.... unless you want a HUGE learning curve for a programmable piggyback like eManage or SAFCII

i didnt notice that you were boosted... you are either gonna have to go w/ rrm's stage 2 setup, emanage and that sort, or standalone

going off 03rally, rrms stage 2, and emange a piggybacks, which and alonewould be a good things to tume, the emange can do data log, unless you are planning on going with full AEM EMS. it all depends on what you really plan to achive, buti would say emange

really? Hmm.... then my eManage has been lying to my WBO2, making it -think- the fuel changes are changing the AFR and then my butt dyno has also been fooled into feeling more power after fuel changes.

I'll admit I had some trouble with mine, but that was all ignorance of how much fuel we can really remove before we get into unsafe territories (N/A) and possibly a bad clone cable. They're actually a really good option, and Dave at RPW swears by them if you're not going to go full standalone (esp with turbo kits). Food for thought.

not to mention... NO one that has been on this board has had problems adding fuel for boost applications like what you will be doing

i just want smoother accel. like if the turbo was supposed to be ther. like if u were drivng an EVO or WRX....its just not smooth. i belive HotShot940 said when ge got his stage2 w/ piggy, stage 1 settings it fet to pull much harder and smoother. just to tweak w/ timeing, fuel etc.
