ROAD/RACE Header with CEL ELIMINATOR
Just letting you guys know what we have been up to. Our headers will now be sold with CEL eliminators. We have been tessting for a month and have got a package ready to release soon. Lancer header without CEL! Should be ready in 2 weeks or so, I will keep everyone posted.

Buying an O2 simulator from Summit, Perrin, etc has always been an option for you guys. I'd say check those out if you don't want to wait for RRM to produce them. They are $50 and work like a charm.

for guys who don't have the RRM header already this is an awesome product w/o the hassle of CEL. Another great move from RRM!
Rock, will this header fix the CEL if you have a test pipe or the RRM high flow cat?

The CEL is caused by the removal of the first cat. The RRM header replaces the stock header, which has a pre-cat built in. That's why the CEL comes on, because the second O2 sensor notices that the first cat doesn't exist anymore. The MIL eliminator is just a resistor on the second O2 sensor signal wire, and doesn't work very well. An O2 simulator replaces the second O2 sensor signal wire, and emulates a working O2 sensor so the ECU thinks the precat is there. Anything RRM is coming up, if it works, will be an O2 simulator or some sort of resistor/capacitor that will modify/replace the stock O2 signal so the ECU thinks there is a pre-cat.

Does this mean that the price of the header is going to increase?
Also, some guys are getting the spark plug anti-fouler fix to work with lancers:

This is by far the cheapest solution if you can get it to work.
