should be able to find and elbow at either a auto parts store or I found mine at the Home Depot.

As far as the breather filter goes...it just keeps dirty air from coming into the valve cover, stuff that wouldve typically been filtered by the intake

You don't HAVE to replace the elbow, but it's a good idea because the stock one flexes a lot. The one on my intake now stays put wihtout any problems.

If anyone needs a silicone elbow I'd be happy to give em my Injen one (red, somewhat thin at about 1/4" thickness, and with a small, white Injen decal on it) if you pay for shipping.

If anyone wants to recommend an intake missing from the poll I can add it rather than having them post to "other", but if it's custom then it's probably best just to vote other.

Too bad we're in an on topic forum or I'd have some choice words for you, Jeremy.

Fixed that.

danka.
The Intake shortens the distance the cold air has to travel to the throttle assembly and reduces the restriciveness of the factory air box allowing the engine to breathe easier resulting in some horsepower gain.
I personally use RMR cold air under my hood, and have had nothing but positive effects from it. Rain, sleet, snow, or shine theres been nothing so far on the street in CT that can catch me when I let the hammer down.

most intakes do the same thing, similar gains. if your'e gonna get an exhaust system (especially with a header) it's definitely a good idea to get intake to help balance out. but if you are only gonna get intake and call it quits on the performance mods, better to spend your money on an xbox game or marijuana.

I recently got the AEM CAI. I'll be writting up a review and a photo intall soon (wanna give it a few days to see how she responds before I write a review. Over all though, easy intall, good sound and could feel a little umph in the 3K-4K rpm range.

why is the typhoon listed in the parts index for $160, but autozone and a few other places have them for around $400? Where can I get one for 160?
