seriously dude, don't bother. gains would be ridiculously pitiful, looks ridiculous, and people will only think you are forced fed. just stick with SR or CAI

Very True... performance is very minimal. All you gonna gain is more engine noise..lol. Makes a nice humming sound.
I had a CAI on my auto, but the tranny ate the piping. Now I still have the CAI but in a shorter version. It's a bit off from what the the Short Ram installation others have...
Mine is a bit Unorthodox looking, plus it's right towards the front of the engine near the Radiator to catch incoming air through the front grill on the hood.
I'll post a pic later on today so you all can see.. I doubt anyone has this setup i got. IT's not big deal, just different...
give me a few hours. i'm still at work.

Dont do it.
The concept makes sense, so I feel ya... BUT
In my research of this (I thought about it too), it turns out that the Intercooler generates heat in and of itself, because its rather high powered in order to cool the hott air resulted from the turbo. The N/A isnt enough of anything worth cooling down (for that type of mechanism)... If its not cooling that hot air, then the heat that it generates in and of itself is actually "radiating" into your engine bay, and most likely warming up your N/A intake rather than cooling it.
It would basically cancel itself out.
It was a good idea while it lasted tho haha

yes! the word is "INTERFOOLER"... hahaha actually was talkin bout this last nite w/ a buddy... and yea it looks cool I guess... but i would rather mount it like the stock side-mount IC in my 1g... that front mount is just wrong.. and if it was mounted in front it would be an INTERFOOLER and if it was side-mounted it would be cool... but dont tell me ur gonna have an intake front-mounted and claim to have a turbo and all that jazz... that would be like having an oz and puttin an evo bodykit on it and tellin people its an evo instead of an oz... its just wrong!

?? Also, wouldn't that disqualify the whole Turn signal purpose?

Youre entitled to your opinion. I think its phat.
No it wouldnt, cus you have side signals.
I bet I could make it work on the Lancer, maybe not a circle, perhaps a shape that goes with the headlights shape... Anyone wanna shop it? If it does look sh!tty, then I take it back, and wont do it. I like the idea tho, so lets see...?
