6A12 MIVEC swap

Ive been looking around all day about this engine, and I havent found any pics or anything on successful swaps yet, If its as easy as rpw says it is, how come not many people are getting it?

And wondering, if there exist any other PRACTICAL noteworthy engines. As in, Ive heard from too many already that the evo engine just doesnt work.
Thanks a bunch.

Living in CA... no. i don't think swapping engines every smog check is worth it. the 6A12 never made it to the states so there's no references in it for smog. you're better off doing a 4G64 or 4G69 swap.

oh okay i understand that part lol thanks.

what i meant by worth it was just an overall thing, as in , well i dont care about the installation hassle, but if i gotta do it EVERY smog check, then thats a problem... and also hp gain and all that..

no one really has done it in north america

australia / philippines and maybe japan I dunno...

if you do it then u'll be unique

worth it? no one can really tell you its worth it

if I had the money I would probably do it, but thats just me

there will be a lot of rrm fans that would say slap on a turbo

or others will say 4g69 etc etc...

its really up to you...

If being one of the few in the states (probably the only one) makes it worth it then go for it. Just be prepared to spend probably what you paid for the car to do it.
